If tou are reading this, You probably have one o several mail accounts,
from your server or elsewhere.
Free "public" mail services, like those from Yahoo or Hotmail, are very
useful because:
- You have
the mail name that you want, if it is available.
- You can
read and send e-mails from anywhere on the world, if there is a computer
connected to the Internet. You only need to remember your username and
password, nothing about configuration.
- They are
free and offer enough space to maintain a normal account whithout any
problem. Naturally, it varies depending on your choice.
- You don't
need to give personal data, o only a few.
- You can
re-direct your other mail accounts to your free web account, and read/send
mails while you are in other country, in a congress, in vacation, in a
friend's home,...
- You can
open several accounts if you want, one for personal mail, other for
professional things, other for internet information,... and be safe from
an only over-all account.
There, we offer you some links to obtain a free account. We have some in
Yahoo, and we haven't had any problem yet. Many people have a mail account
in Yahoo or Hotmail because they are great companies, and probably may
guarantee the service. You choice.
